Interdisciplinary Practice in Developmental Disabilities

ABSTRACT

This article explores the development of interdisciplinary team practice within the field of development disabilities. Various interdisciplinary models are described, and the role of the social worker is specifically reviewed. As social workers practice as members of teams in a variety of contexts, a greater understanding of an interdisciplinary approach is warranted.     

Leadership Dimensions,the Critical Link for the Evolution of Collaboration

Abstract

This article traces the history of one community's efforts to coordinate services to address family violence. The current mazeof organizations in communities is overwhelming to the professionals who work in them, the political leaders who authorize them, the foundations and United Ways who fund them, and, most assuredly, to the persons for whom the various organizations were established. A review of the literature on coordination and collaboration is included as well as a discussion of leadership challenges during the various stages in the evolutionary process to provide confidential, culturally sensitive, comprehensive, accountable, and user-friendly community social service systems.

高校社科学报编排规范在执行中存在着几个问题，即明确性规范与未明示要求、弹性规范与硬性规定、统一规范与个性化风格等。高校社科学报在编排过程中要提高对明确性规范的执行力度，并正确理解未予明示要求的规范；要正确理解和区分弹性规范与硬性规定，提高对规范的准确认识和执行规范的水平；要在坚持规范的前提下，从编排形式、刊物对作者研究方向的引导及研究的深度和力度上铸造学报的个性化特色和风格。     

Mobilizing on Campus: Conservative Movements and Today’s College Students1

Social movement scholars have known for some time that students, and particularly college students, play an important role in modern social movements. Yet the full extent of conservative mobilizing, both today and in the past, is frequently overlooked. This article highlights the critical role college campuses have played in the rise of conservative movements in the United States over the last 40 years. In doing so, it develops a concept of transition points to help explain the mechanisms responsible for the longstanding finding that college students form an important core of many social movements. Transition points are marked by both changes in routines and changes in social network configuration. The utility of the transition point concept is explored through ethnographic and interview data from the American pro‐life movement.     

论20世纪80年代中国先锋戏剧的思想主题

二十世纪八十年代，中国的先锋戏剧明显受到了西方文化思潮以及西方戏剧观念的影响，同时探询中国先锋戏剧的民族品格。由于彼时中国特定的国情，决定了此时的先锋戏剧多从“人”出发，对人性进行探讨，对普通人的焦灼生存状态和人的精神世界的多面性进行展示，从“人”、异化、心理、社会批判四大基点出发，在思想层面形成明显的主题性特征。     

“互构”型社会支持系统的缺失与城市外来青少年犯罪

近几年来,城市外来青少年犯罪问题成为广受关注的问题;在对某省未成年犯管教所未成年犯深入访谈的基础上,文章从社会支持和社会网络的角度分析了城市外来青少年犯罪的重要社会成因;外来青少年由于缺乏各种社会支持而受同龄群体的吸引,在同龄群体中建立起了封闭而又具有强力关系的社会网络,城市外来青少年犯罪的重要社会原因之一是：社会支持不足造成的封闭社会网络,封闭的社会网络导致城市外来青少年主动构建社会支持的能力不足。＂互构＂的社会支持系统对预防城市外来青少年犯罪具有非常重要的意义。     

城乡经济社会一体化的理论演进

改革开放以来,中国经济实现了持续快速发展,但城乡二元结构一直是制约经济社会健康发展的瓶颈。鉴于此,中央提出了加快形成＂城乡经济社会发展一体化新格局＂的时代命题。在此,对城乡经济社会一体化战略提出的背景与过程、与＂城乡经济社会一体化＂相关的几个概念及其关系、城乡经济社会一体化的主要内容等问题进行阐述。     

Implementing Web-Based Learning: Evaluation Results from a Mental Health Course

SUMMARY

This paper reports on the evaluation results of a web-enhanced mental health course. The instructional design of the course was based on the principles of constructivist and collaborative learning environments. Students strongly supported the use of web-based learning in this course and found that the online environment enhanced their learning. The benefits and disadvantages of web-based learning and the implications for future course development are discussed. Issues in implementing web-based learning in social work education are also identified.     

高职生人文素质与社会生活能力状况的调查及对策探析

采用了调查问卷、座谈会、实地考察、走访相关学生工作部门等方式，对当代高职生长期社会生活中最实用、最常用、最需要的人文素质进行了调研。通过调研得出了相互印证又尽可能准确、真实、可靠的第一手资料。通过对第一手资料的分析和研究，给出了相应的对策、建议，以期为今后的高职人文素质课程改革提供有力的材料支持。     

Separation,Connection, and the Ambiguous Nature of Émigré Houses in Rural Highland Madagascar

ABSTRACT

The houses that educated migrants from highland Madagascar build in their home villages are generally large in scale and modern in style. They are also usually empty and in a very poor state of repair. This article is about how these houses articulate the ambivalent relationship of migrants to their ancestral land and the family they have left behind there. The argument goes beyond analyses of émigrés' houses that simply see such constructions as ways of maintaining links to their point of origin and suggests that they also act as means of attenuating such connections. In fact, they embody and symbolize a range of contradictions and tensions typical of the migrant experience, such as presence and absence, connection and separation, individual ambition and communal obligation.
